Botox, which is often mentioned in cosmetic surgery, is technically a product name.

To be exact, it is right to say that it is botulinum toxin extracted from a bacterium called Clostridium botulinum.

Botox is a product name developed by Allergan in the U.S.

In other words, the representative product name has become the epitome of all products.

This is the same case as the bandage of disposable bandages and the Bacchus of nourishing tonics.

Botox is the first botulinum toxin preparation to launch the product after obtaining approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 1995.

Allergan's Botox currently holds 75 percent of the global market share for botulinum toxin preparation.

Since Medytox produced a domestic botulinum toxin preparation in 2006, many domestic pharmaceutical companies have produced it. In fact, Medytox Corp and Hewzel Co have 85 percent of the market share in Korea.

In particular, following a preliminary ruling by the U.S. International Committee on the theft of strains from Daewoong Pharmaceutical and Medytox, which have continued for the past five years, the possibility of Daewoong Pharmaceutical's exports to the U.S. has increased for the next 10 years.

The problem is that the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety recently announced the cancellation of product licenses for three Medytoxin products manufactured by Medytox. Medical consumers are also concerned about the cancellation of the approval of products from the nation's No. 1 company.

In response, the Botulinum Research Society, a member of the Korean Society of Plastic Surgeons, announced that the request for discontinuance of use is a very embarrassing move as there have been no consistent opinions that may cause concerns about certain side effects or quality problems while using Meditoxin products.

Moreover, medical consumers will not need to worry too much about botulinum toxin itself, as they expect companies and the government to work on stricter standards and quality in the future. You don't have to worry too much if you talk to a skilled specialist and get a safe product and the right capacity.

Botulinum toxin drugs are widely used in various cosmetic treatments as well as square jaws. One of them is 'Skin Botox.' Skin Botox is also called dermatoxin or mezzotoxin.

The main goal is to inject low-concentration Botox into the dermis of the skin. Dilute and dilute the concentration of botulinum toxin preparation and evenly inject it into the entire face, such as a diffuse solution such as hyaluronide, to improve wrinkles, lift effects, and reduce pores without major paralysis of facial muscles.

Above all, it is different from injecting the muscle layer when trying to remove wrinkles or reduce muscles. It is characterized by injection into the dermis layer of the skin, which does not make the expression unnatural, improves the wrinkles around the eyes, the wrinkles around the move-in, and the lifting effect of the jawline line and the corners of the mouth.

Skin Botox takes about 10 minutes and recovery is usually one to two days. The duration is 4-6 months, but there is a personal difference.

However, even safe skin Botox can be an unnatural expression if it is fitted with too much capacity. It is important to note that frequent spacings within one to two months of the first procedure can cause resistance and reduce the effect.
